Winter Holiday Spirit and A Quiet Magic
We all feel a certain magic in the air this time of year, an unspoken, invisible warmth that feels like home. It’s kind, joyful, and softly glowing, almost sweet enough to breathe in.Every store I walk into, every street in this mid-size town, sparkles with gentle lights. Suddenly, memories rush back: presents under a shimmering tree, childhood laughter, surprises wrapped with care.As I look around, I notice people walking with purpose, all moving in the same direction. Their intention is simple: to make someone feel loved, happy, and appreciated. In the stores, people smile more, help more, and offer their best advice. I hear siblings whispering about what to buy for Mom and Dad. Everyone works as a team, connected by a shared desire to make this time of year special for someone else. And it makes me wonder…
Why does this beautiful spirit of cooperation, kindness, and open-hearted teamwork fade once the holidays pass? Then comes the season of resolutions.
We write new intentions, new dreams, new promises to ourselves. We step into a new year wanting something to look forward to, something to live for. Yet often, those intentions fade, living only as quiet wishes we never fully bring to life.I believe that if we devoted even half the energy we spend on our careers, money, and achievements to understanding ourselves, who we truly are, we would become more joyful, loving, and compassionate human beings.Because in the end, we have one life to live.
And we forget that we were born to grow, evolve, and expand the soul, not just survive the routines. We are here to be present.
To love fully.
To give our gifts freely.
To live our truth. This may be the moment to return to our authentic power, to our free will, expression, and joy. The best way to step into the upcoming year is to carry the warmth of the holiday spirit into the rest of our days.A new year.
A new breath.A new energy for ourselves, and for our planet. With Love Alena
